"Because oh because, I'm falling quite hard over you", the lyrics struck her when the song came up on the playlist of the coffee shop she worked in. Washing the coffee machine, she hummed the song and was taken aback when the new girl asked her to take the order of the next customer. She quickly quit filling the coffee machine with new beans and inhaled the beautiful smell of coffee which made her pick the coffee shop instead of all the other restaurants in the firdt place.

She turned around, only to find him standing, staring at his phone and typing something really fast. She froze up like a statue, gazing at him, teal turtleneck sweater and black denim with a light grey scarf which covered her favourite part of him. He was busy reading something when she cleared her throat and he looked up to find the same pair of dark eyes which he left five years ago. Neither of them knew where their once secret bearer were and now, here they were, standing in front of one another, baffled and not being able to say a single word.
She spoke the first words, "What can I get for you?" Even though she knew exactly what he wants. He did not make a sound and kept on staring at her brooding eyes until the woman from behind asked him to hurry up and order. Apologizing, he moved to one side and watched her take the orders from the woman in the dark brown coat and platinum blonde hair.
The two of them looked at each other when a song came up which was from 2005 by a band they loved dearly.

After the woman left with her large pumpkin spice latte, he finally came up to her and said, "Hey." She walked out of her station towards the guy she was still madly and terribly in love with, wrapped her hands around him and they stood there, forgetting their surrounding as if the Lifehouse song was played only for them. It felt like forever since she got to hold him like this and my god, she felt whole again with the same beating of the heart she would have every time before they met; her eyes glistened as tears of joy streamed down her cold cheeks. She finally let go only to allow him to entwine her now. He still smelled like Hugo Boss like the first day they kissed and she was still in love with the way he held her. He looked at her and kissed her forehead and they both knew they're screwed, once again.
